The Minnesota Twins fell to the Chicago White Sox 6-5 in their series opener.
Bailey Ober gave up four runs over five innings in a no-decision. Genesis Cabrera, Kody Funderburk, and Travis Adams all tossed a scoreless inning. Justin Topa was tagged with the loss after giving up two runs over only one inning of work.
Byron Buxton paced the Minnesota offense with two RBI. Brooks Lee and Royce Lewis added an RBI apiece.
The Twins and White Sox will continue their series on Tuesday evening with first pitch scheduled for 6:40 p.m. Simeon Woods-Richardon is scheduled to be on the mound for Minnesota with Davis Martin countering for Chicago.
