Twins fall short to Orioles in series rubber match

The Minnesota Twins dropped their series rubber match 8-6 to the Orioles in Baltimore on Sunday afternoon.

Tristan Gray drove in three runs for the Twins. Royce Lewis hit a solo home run while Trevor Larnach also picked up an RBI.

Bailey Ober gave up three runs over four innings in a no-decision. Mick Abel tossed 3 ⅓ innings in relief with four strikeouts while giving up four runs and eventually being tagged with the loss. Anthony Banda recorded two outs from the pen.

Minnesota dropped to 1-2 on the young season. MN struck out 12 times and left 10 runners on base.

The Twins will now head to Kansas City to battle the Royals with first pitch scheduled for 3:10 p.m. Simeon Woods Richardson is scheduled to get the nod for Minnesota while Kris Bubic counters for the Royals.
