Twins – Guardians suspended due to weather; scheduled to resume on Tuesday night

On Monday the Minnesota Twins and Cleveland Guardians were scheduled to begin a three-game series. The game had multiple rain delays before play was suspended for the night in the fourth inning. The Twins were leading 2-1 at the time.

Play is scheduled to resume on Tuesday evening at 5:10 p.m. After the conclusion of the game they will begin Game Two of the series half an hour later. Chris Paddack is currently scheduled to start the late game for the Twins with Gavin Williams slated to counter for the Guardians.

As of right now Minnesota (26-21) sits in a second place tie with the Kansas City Royals (27-22) in the AL Central with Cleveland (25-21) currently in fourth place.
