Twins pitching only allows one run in win over Marlins

The Minnesota Twins edged the Miami Marlins 2-1 on Wednesday night.

Simeon Woods-Richardson tossed five innings while only giving up one run en route to earning his fourth win of the season. The bullpen threw four shutout innings, capped off by Jhoan Duran’s 13th save of the season.

Brooks Lee and Carlos Correa each drove in a run in the victory.

The Twins and Marlins will conclude their series on Thursday with first pitch scheduled for 11:10 a.m. David Festa will get the nod for Minnesota with Eury Perez countering for Miami.
