Twins routed by Yankees

The Minnesota Twins were crushed by the New York Yankees 9-1 on Tuesday night.

Travis Adams was tagged with the loss after giving up four runs over 2 ⅓ innings Thomas Hatch gave up an additional four runs over 4 ⅓ innings of work. Kody Funderburk recorded one out while Cole Sands gave up one run over an inning out of the bullpen.

Royce Lewis drove in Minnesota’s lone run in the top of the first inning.

The Twins and Yankees will conclude their series on Wednesday night with first pitch scheduled for 6:05 p.m. and game coverage available on Prime Video. Joe Ryan is scheduled to get the nod for Minnesota with Cam Schlittler countering for New York.
