The Minnesota Twins completed the series sweep of the tailspinning Chicago White Sox with a 13-7 win on Sunday afternoon.
The Twins won 12 of the 13 meetings against the White Sox this season. The win was Minnesota’s fourth straight. The loss was Chicago’s 20th consecutive L, tying the White Sox with the second longest losing streak in AL history.
Royce Lewis led the offensive attack with his 13th home run of the season. Lewis and Willi Castro each drove in three runs in the win. Seven Twins drove in at least one run in the game.

Cole Sands tossed two shutout innings in relief and earned the win for Minnesota.
The Twins will now head to the North side of Chicago to square off with the Cubs for a series to begin the week. First pitch is set for 7:05 p.m. on Monday. David Festa will get the nod for Minnesota while Kyle Hendricks counters for Chicago.
