(Eagan, MN) — The Minnesota Vikings are opening up some roster spots. The team cut tight end Nick Vannett and offensive lineman Vershon Lee on Tuesday afternoon.
Vannett has appeared in three games for Minnesota, while Lee saw time in one. The moves were made just before linebacker Blake Cashman and running back Ty Chandler are eligible to be activated from injured reserve.
The Vikings have a bye this week before hosting the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday, October 19th.
