The Minnesota Vikings edged the Detroit Lions 27-24 on Sunday afternoon.
J.J. McCarthy completed 14-of-25 passes for 143 yards with two touchdowns and one interception. McCarthy added a rushing touchdown.

Justin Jefferson and T.J. Hockenson each caught a touchdown. Aaron Jones carried the ball nine times for 78 yards. Jordan Mason added 10 carries for 36 yards.
Blake Cashman led the Vikings defense with 14 tackles. Byron Murphy Jr. and Javon Hargrave added eight tackles apiece.
Minnesota improved to 4-4 on the season with the win. The Vikings will host the Baltimore Ravens on Sunday, November 9 at noon with game coverage available on FOX.
