Vikings drop preseason matchup to Patriots

Minnesota Vikings fell to the New England Patriots 20-12 in preseason play on Saturday.

Max Brosmer completed 15-of-27 passes for 156 yards and one interception. Tim Jones paced the receiving core with five receptions for 68 yards. Zavier Scott had 10 carries for 28 yards along with three receptions for 44 yards.

Austin Keys paced the defense with seven tackles. The defense did not force a turnover in the game.

Will Reichard was a perfect 4-for-4 in field goals with the longest being from 54-yards out.

The Vikings will wrap up preseason play on Friday night in Tennessee against the Titans. Kickoff will be at 7 p.m. with game coverage available on CBS.
