(Eagan, MN) — The injuries are mounting up for the Minnesota Vikings.
The team placed starting running back Aaron Jones on injured reserve with a hamstring injury yesterday. The move comes a day after the Purple announced that JJ McCarthy will miss Week Three due to an ankle sprain. The Vikings signed free agent quarterback Desmond Ridder and running back Cam Akers to replace Jones and McCarthy.
Minnesota will host the Cincinnati Bengals on Sunday at noon with game coverage available on CBS.
