NEW YORK – A NFL spokesperson announces Vikings wide receiver Jordan Addison has been suspended without pay for the first three games of the season.
That’s because he’s been found in violation of the league’s substance abuse policy.
Addison is allowed to participate in training camp and preseason games.
The pass-catcher agreed to a wet reckless plea to a lesser charge in his driving while intoxicated case earlier this month and was sentenced to serve one year of probation.
Troopers found Addison asleep at the wheel with his vehicle blocking traffic last summer in Los Angeles.
