A three goal first period cost the Minnesota Wild in a 4-3 loss to the Carolina Hurricanes in Raleigh, NC.
Filip Gustavsson saved 23 of the 27 shots he faced in net. Matt Boldy scored his sixth and seventh goals of the season. Brock Faber scored his second goal of the campaign. Marcus Johansson, Kirill Kaprizov, Vladimir Tarasenko, and Jared Spurgeon each added an assist in the game.

Minnesota fell to 5-7-3 on the season. The Wild will now visit the New York Islanders on Friday night with puck drop scheduled for 6 p.m. on FanDuel Sports Network North.
