The Minnesota Wild overcame a two-goal third period deficit to force overtime against the San Jose Sharks on Sunday night, but ultimately fell 6-5.
Joel Eriksson Ek, Ryan Hartman, Marcus Johansson, Marco Rossi, and Zeev Buium all scored goals in the game. Kirill Kaprizov and Brock Faber each recorded three assists in the game. Jesper Wallstedt saved 19 of the 25 shots he faced in net.

Ryan Hartman’s goal was his 100th in a Wild sweater. Kaprizov reach 400 career points, tying him with Zach Parise for the fourth-most points in franchise history.
Minnesota fell to 3-5-2 on the season.
The Wild will continue their home stand on Tuesday night when they welcome in the Winnipeg Jets. Puck drop will be at 7 p.m.
