Wild defeat Predators in OT, extend winning streak to five games

The Minnesota Wild walked-off the Nashville Predators 6-5 in overtime on Wednesday evening.

Matt Boldy led Minnesota with three goals and one assist. Jared Spurgeon scored the game-winning goal in the final minute of overtime while Vladimir Tarasenko and Yakov Trenin added a goal apiece.

Quinn Hughes tallied two assists. Joel Eriksson Ek, Kirill Kaprizov, Danila Yurov, Mats Zuccarello, Zach Bogosian, Brock Faber, and Jake Middleton all totaled an assist.

Minnesota improved to a record of 34-14-10 on the season. The Wild are now riding a five game winning streak.

The Wild are now off for the next three weeks for the Olympics break (will return to the ice on Thursday, February 26 in Denver against the Avalanche)
