Wild drop third straight

The Minnesota Wild continued to struggle dropping their third straight game. The Winnipeg Jets dominated the Wild in a 6-2 victory. The Jets scored the games first three goals before the Wild got on the scoreboard, then scored the games next three goals to take a 6-1 lead into the third period.

Danila Yurov and Marcus Johansson each scored for the Wild. Jesper Wallstedt struggled in net as he saved 14 of the 20 shots he faced and was replaced by Filip Gustavsson  for the third period.

Minnesota fell to a record of 26-13-9 on the season. The Wild will travel to Buffalo on Saturday for a matchup with the Sabres. Puck drop is scheduled for 11:30 a.m. with game coverage available on FanDuel Sports Network North and NHL Network.
