Wild edge Hurricanes in shootout

The Minnesota Wild edged the Carolina Hurricanes 4-3 in a shootout on Wednesday evening.

Jesper Wallstedt was solid in net saving 42 of the 45 shots he faced.

Matt Boldy, Mats Zuccarello, and Brock Faber all scored in the game. Danila Yurov recorded a pair of assists while Kirill Kaprizov and Mats Zuccarello each added an assist. Matt Boldy scored the only goal in the shootout.

The Wild improved to a record of 10-7-4 on the season. Minnesota will now hit the road on Friday night to battle the Penguins in Pittsburgh with puck drop scheduled for 6 p.m. and game coverage available on NHL Network.
