(St. Paul, MN) — The Minnesota Wild are locking down their goal-tender. The team signed Filip Gustavsson to a five-year extension worth $34-million dollars over the weekend.
The contract will keep Gustavsson in Minnesota through the 2030-31 season. The 27-year-old has spent the last three seasons with the Wild. He went 31-19-6 with a 2.56 goals against average last year.
In other team news, Minnesota beat Chicago 3-2 in a preseason game on Friday.
