Wild fall in Game 6 to Golden Knights; exit in first round for eighth straight postseason appearance

The Minnesota Wild fell short against the Vegas Golden Knights 3-2 on Thursday night.

Ryan Hartman scored both of Minnesota’s goals. Filip Gustavsson saved 20 of the 23 shots he faced in net.

Shea Theodore, Jack Eichel, and Mark Stone all scored for the Golden Knights. Vegas wins the best-of-seven series 4-2. The Knights will play the Edmonton Oiler/Los Angeles Kings in the Western Conference Semifinals.

The Wild have now lost in the first round in each their last eight postseason appearances.
