On Friday night, the Minnesota Wild continued its seven game road trip with the fourth game of the trip. Minnesota controlled the game, taking down the Anaheim Ducks 5-2.
Danila Yurok led the offensive attack with two goals. Yakov Trenin, Kirill Kaprizov, and Nico Sturm each added a goal in the win. Quinn Hughes added four assists while Joel Eriksson Ek chipped in two assists. Trenin, Marcus Foligno, Mats Zuccarello, and Jonas Brodin each tallied an assist.
Filip Gustavsson was in net, saving 26 of the 28 shots he faced. Gustavsson extended his point streak to eight games (7-0-1) along with improving to 5-0 in his career against the Ducks in Anaheim.
Minnesota improved to 25-10-7 on the season. The Wild will now visit the Los Angeles Kings on Saturday evening with puck drop scheduled for 8 p.m. Game coverage will be available on FanDuel Sports Network North.
