The Minnesota Timberwolves fell to the Golden State Warriors 99-88 in Game One of their Western Conference Semifinals series on Tuesday night
The Wolves struggled shooting from the field connecting on only 5-of-29 three point (17.2%) attempts and 34-of-86 overall (39.5%) from the field.
Anthony Edwards finished with 23 points, 14 rebounds, and three steals. Edwards didn’t hit a jumper from the field until the fourth quarter. Naz Reid added 19 points off the bench, while Julius Randle chipped in 18 points and six assists. Rudy Gobert tallied nine points, 11 rebounds, and three blocks.

The Warriors lost Steph Curry in the second quarter to a hamstring strain. Curry is currently listed as day-to-day with his statue for Game Two still to be determined. Buddy Hield led the Warriors with 24 points and eight rebounds followed by Jimmy Butler’s 20 points, 11 rebounds, and eight assists.
Golden State now leads the best-of-seven series 1-0.
