The Minnesota Timberwolves fell to the Knicks in New York 137-114 in Anthony Edwards’ return to the lineup last night. The Pack led by four at the half before being outscored 83-56 in the final 24 minutes.
The Knicks out-rebounded the Wolves 50-31. NY also beat MN on the offensive glass 21-9.
Julius Randle paced Minnesota with 32 points, five rebounds, and four assists. Donte DiVincenzo added 21 points in his first game at The Garden since being traded to the T-Wolves just over a year ago. Anthony Edwards chipped in 15 points over 29 minutes in his return to the lineup. Edwards missed MN’s previous four games with hamstring soreness.
The Pack fell to 4-4 on the season with the loss.
The Wolves will return to the hardwood on Friday night when they welcome the Utah Jazz to the Target Center with tip-off scheduled for 7 p.m.
