Wolves overcome fourth quarter deficit to defeat Blazers in season opener

The Minnesota Timberwolves edged the Portland Trail Blazers 118-114 to open the 2025-26 season. The Pack trailed by seven points entering the fourth quarter before outsourcing the Blazers 30-19 in the final frame.

Anthony Edwards powered the Wolves with 41 points and seven rebounds. Julius Randle added 19 points, seven rebounds, and six assists. Jaden McDaniels chipped in 18 points followed by 10 points apiece from Rudy Gobert and Terrance Shannon Jr.

Minnesota will visit the Los Angeles Lakers with tip-off at 9 p.m. and game coverage available on Prime Video.
