Wolves ride hot second and fourth quarters to Summer League win over Pistons

Dominant second and fourth quarters led the Minnesota Timberwolves past the Detroit Pistons 89-73 on Tuesday afternoon. The Pack outscored the Pistons 18-8 in the second quarter and 29-16 in the fourth quarter.

Terrance Shannon Jr. powered Minnesota with 24 points and five rebounds. Leonard Miller added 20 points and eight rebounds. Rob Dillingham chipped in 16 points and four assists.

The Wolves will continue Summer League play on Wednesday against the Phoenix Suns with the tip-off scheduled for 4 p.m. and game coverage available on NBA TV.
