The Minnesota Timberwolves defeated the New Orleans Pelicans 98-91 on Thursday afternoon. Minnesota was fueled by their second quarter where the Wolves outscored the Pelicans 31-20.
Leonard Miller and Terrance Shannon Jr. dropped 20 points apiece for the Pack. Rob Dillingham dropped 15 points. Joan Beringer added 11 points, eight rebounds and six blocks.
The Wolves will now battle the Denver Nuggets on Saturday night. Tip-off is scheduled for 9:30 p.m. with full game coverage available on NBA TV.
