CASS COUNTY, ND — An in-custody death is under investigation at the Cass County Jail. Sheriff Jesse Jahner says an unresponsive 37-year-old woman was found shortly after 11:30 p.m.
Monday night. Life saving measures were attempted, but the woman later died. The North Dakota Bureau of Criminal Investigation and the North Dakota Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation are currently investigating the incident
The victim’s name is expected to be released at a later time.
