FARGODOME improvements possibly headed to voters

(Fargo, ND) — Voters in Fargo may be faced with another ballot proposal for improvements to the Fargodome.

The city commission and the Fargo Dome Authority met for a public information meeting yesterday at City Hall. Officials want to assess the voters’ interest in putting the issue to another vote after being defeated less than a year ago. The proposal calls for a quarter-cent sales tax over 20 years that would pay for the necessary improvements.

Voters rejected a recent proposal.
