WDAY RADIO — Mail delivery could get even slower for people living in rural North Dakota.
The U.S. Postal Service announced a new plan to help cut costs to save $3 Billion dollars a year, and it involves delaying mail service in areas where service is already very slow. The postal service says the cost-cutting measure could delay some deliveries by as much as a day.
The Postmaster General says the changes wouldn’t be implemented until after Election Day.
