Men’s College World Series down to six teams

(Omaha, NE) — The Men’s College World Series is down to six teams after Florida eliminated NC State with a 5-4 win on Monday.

Texas A&M, Kentucky, Florida State, North Carolina and Tennessee are the other teams that remain in the MCWS. Texas A&M beat Kentucky 5-1 on Monday in a double elimination round game to advance to Wednesday’s semifinals. Tennessee already advanced to the semifinals with a 6-1 win over UNC in a double elimination round game on Sunday.

The two other semifinalists will be determined with elimination games on Tuesday. FSU plays UNC at 1 p.m. and Kentucky takes on Florida at 6 p.m. Coverage of both games will be available on ESPN.
