Record warmth....110 year old record may fall...snow back in the forecast?

If we are going to be this warm, we might as well go down in the record books, right?  The record high for Monday is 54 set back in 1911.  I do believe we will eclipse that breaking a 110 year old record!!  Tomorrow we may set another record high, assuming we get enough sunshine. After that, the party is over.  Much colder on Wednesday, albeit still above normal with temps in the 30s and a rain/snow mix.  Any accumulations would be minor.   Notice the map above though.  This is snowfall prediction over the next 10 days.  A trio of storms will pass through the central plains and just clip the valley.   Notice how the main storm track (higher snow totals) remain to our south.  This has been the main storm track all winter long.  Typically as we head into spring this storm track shifts northward.  So, although we are enjoying record warmth this week, old man winter isn't quite finished with us yet.
