After a hot holiday weekend, this week promises to be cool with temps in the 70s and night time lows in the 50s. Give that air conditioner a rest. Overnight/early morning rainfall across much of the F/M area was between 1/2" and 3/4" Slightly heavier amounts into Becker Co. and lesser amounts to our north and NW. We will have another chance for showers coming into the area as we head into Friday. After a cool week, it looks like the weekend starts to warm up back into the 80s with possible 90 by Sunday. Some signs of another heat ridge building in for next week. and lasting for awhile. Just another reason to enjoy this brief break in the heat for the first part of July.
