October saw a large swing of temperatures from the 90s at the beginning of the month to the 20s and 30s by the end of the month for daytime highs.
Lows at the beginning of the month leveled off in the 50s to 60s, fell to below zero in western ND, and into the teens and single digits in eastern ND by the end of the month.
Precipitation fell below average in the southeast quadrant of ND and highest above average in the northwest.
The First measurable snow fell on 10/25/23 through the 27th.
