Dense Fog and Winter Weather Advisory Until Noon

Areas of dense fog are reducing visibility to a quarter mile or less up and down the valley. Freezing mist/drizzle also accompanying the fog is producing a widespread glaze of ice on roads, sidewalks, and parking lots. A winter weather advisory is in effect until noon for a light glaze of ice through this morning. Expect slippery roads and some freezing mist outside of the winter weather advisory but worse within the advisory. Dense Fog Advisory is also in effect until noon today.

Here is a current look at visibility (reported in pink) as of 8:35 am CDT. You can check out the latest visibility here.

Expect more areas of fog tonight with some freezing mist possible for some slick travel again Saturday morning with areas of reduced visibility.
