Cooler and Windy Weekend

Temperatures have been warm to mild this week, but another round of Canadian air will drop into the area for the weekend.

It's been a very nice week so far with temperatures rotting at 70 degrees on Monday! Another round of cool air is set to drop down out of Canada for this weekend which will drop high temperatures for the most part into the 20s and 30s around the Fargo area. Along with the cooler air mass, it's going to turn on the windy side as north and northwest winds kick up about 15-30 mph, windiest on Saturday. This will knock windchill into the single digits and teens in the mornings, 20s through the afternoons, and a few 30s during breaks in the wind.
Additionally, there will also be a slight chance for a few scattered snow flurries and or snow showers through the weekend, that could mix with a few rain sprinkles Saturday afternoon.

This is short-lived as it will warm back up into the middle of the following week just to likely cool back down with a chance for snow as another possible storm system looks to lift into the Northern Plains.
