A chilly start to the day today with temps in some areas dropping to the mid 30s!!

Now we embark on a couple of WINDY days with temps remaining well below normal. Normal highs this time of the year should be in the mid to upper 70s. Instead, we will be stuck in the 50s to near 60. The weekend does improve a bit as temps will moderate into the 60s with a little less wind.

THIS is what we call a “fantasy” forecast. In other words, it’s not going to happen. At least, it’s not LIKELY it will be that hot. I do see 70s and probably a few 80s next week though. Looking longer range, expect above normal temps through mid September after we rid ourselves of this pesky “cold snap” that we are currently experiencing.
