It’s been a relatively active severe weather season around the area. Yesterday, another round of severe storms hit the northern valley with high winds and hail. Here’s a look at some of the damage from the winds around Grand Forks:
Now we focus our attention to Thursday when heat and humidity will build and storms will develop in the evening/overnight hours. The storm prediction has put us in a marginal risk but odds are we are upgraded into a slight risk for Thursday evening/overnight:
Timing on the storms is a little “iffy” currently but we will update on more specifics as more info becomes available. Cooler weather follows for the end of the week but the weekend looks nice.
