Quiet week ahead with warmer weather

January is in the books and it turned out that the month averaged about 1 degree BELOW normal and we had around 5.5″ of snow the WHOLE MONTH!!!  Now that we are turning the page into February, it looks like it will start out on a dry note  this week with only a few weak clipper systems bringing a few flurries.  Here is a look at expected snowfall this week across the area:

A lack of snow across much of the state with the only “measurable” snow out to the west of the Valley.  Temps by Thursday are expected to warm well above normal across the state with 30s-50s from east to west:

I’m still seeing a more active pattern starting next week through mid month so stay tuned…..
