As an upper level “disturbance” along with some stronger winds aloft ride over the Valley this evening, strong to possibly severe storms are possible with large hail and wind being the main threat. SPC (Storm Prediction Center) has put the Valley in a slight risk for severe weather this evening:
Timing on the storms will likely be between 5pm and 10pm this evening.
A better chance (more widespread) showers and storms is likely Tuesday night into Wednesday morning:
After Wednesday, the rest of the week looks dry with heat returning by the weekend with highs bouncing back into the 90s.
