Smoke forecast and a little rain this week

Well, May is in the books and it ended up being pretty close to what was predicted with temps above normal and precip just a BIT below normal.   We received around 2 1/2″ of rain across the F/M area for the month and we normally would receive around 3″

Now we turn the page into June and it looks like a typical week in regards to temps with a few chances for rain but no big rain events on the horizon.   Smoke continues to be an issue and here is a look at what is forecasted for the next few days:

There is a cool front that will be pushing through the area today with some showers/t-showers from the afternoon through evening.  Not a whole lot of rain expected though:

There is more rain in the forecast this week but it doesn’t add up to much so if you have outdoor plans, or if you are heading to Ribfest later this week, only a few spotty showers will pass over the area.
