Canadian wildfire smoke has returned at it’s in the unhealthy category today and may worsen tomorrow:
A cold front is passing through the area today with showers and a few storms, some may pack a bit of a punch into lakes country this afternoon. One would think that the rain would wash out the atmosphere of the smoke but unfortunately the upper level winds which steer the smoke are coming right out of Saskatchewan and Manitoba through Saturday.
Individuals with respiratory problems would be wise to limit time outdoors while the smoke is a problem in our area. By Sunday our upper level winds are expected to pull the smoke back north into Canada
