CULVER CITY, Calif. – A North Dakota native is now a ‘Jeopardy!’ champion.
Klay Frappier, who’s originally from McHenry, won $20,000 in Friday’s game.
The accountant and University of Jamestown graduate says he began his trivia career at The Red Hen Taphouse in Dilworth.
“My parents are actually teachers, and they’ve always encouraged me to ask questions and learn more,” Frappier told our partners at Valley News Live.
“I’ve just accumulated all of this knowledge in my life that seemed pretty useless except for trivia! It’s just a really good outlet.”
You can watch Frappier defend his title at 5:00 PM, Monday June 30 on KX4.
