GRAND FORKS, ND – Cirrus Aircraft is announcing a 13-million-dollar investment to expand its manufacturing facility in Grand Forks.
“It’s great to see another world class manufacturing company expanding in Grand Forks,” Grand Forks Mayor Brandon Bochenski told Flag Family News on Tuesday evening. “Cirrus builds the best selling single engine, both piston and jet in the world.”
The expansion will total around 30-thousand square feet. The goal of the increase in size is to boost production of the SR Series single-engine piston airplanes and the Vision Jet. Cirrus plans to create new jobs with the expansion over the next five years.
The project is aiming to be completed by the second quarter of 2026.
