UND’s Music Therapy program is back after being decommissioned in 2016.  Listen as we chat with Carly Flaagan, Director of the Music Therapy program. We learn more about the science behind music therapy and its benefits related to health.  She also tells us they’re excited to host Dr. Daniel Levitin, a renowned neuroscientist, author, and musician, who will give a lecture on music and health.

The “Music as Medicine” lecture will be at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 23, in the Hughes Fine Arts Center’s, Josephine Campbell Recital Hall, Room 202. It is free and open to the public.
