The Minnesota Twins rallied to score five unanswered runs in a 5-3 victory over the New York Mets on Tuesday night. The game was tied at three entering the ninth inning before Minnesota scored a pair of runs.
Simeon Woods Richardson gave up three runs over five innings in a no-decision. Anthony Banda and Justin Topa each tossed a scoreless inning out of the bullpen. Cole Sands stuck out three batters over two shutout innings, earning the win.
Byron Buxton hit a two run homer, his fourth of the season. Luke Keaschall added a pair of RBI. Matt Wallner drove in a run on a bases loaded walk.
