Fargo Police Rescind Shelter in Place Order, Suspect Detained in Moorhead, Then Released

UPDATE: (9:26 a.m. Wednesday) -- Last night, following the detention of the male suspected to be involved in the domestic incident in the 700 block of 14 St. N., officers continued their investigation which is still ongoing. The male was not arrested, and will not be identified at this time.

 

UPDATE: (12:07 a.m Wednesday) -- The male suspected to be involved in this incident has been located in Moorhead and is detained. Officers are still actively investigating this incident. 

The shelter in place has been lifted and roadways are open.

(Fargo, ND) -- Fargo Police Officers have responded to a domestic incident at a resident in the 700 block of 14 St. N. where the husband has fired at least one round. The family has safely exited the house.

Officers are currently trying to make contact with the male and have set up a perimeter.

A shelter in place has been issued for those living in the area of 7th to 9th Ave N. and College to Barrett Street.

Authorities ask that you please avoid the 700 block of 14 St. N. and 8 Ave. N. from Barrett to College St. N.
