Fargo leaders create Police Advisory and Oversight Board

(Fargo, ND) -- Fargo city leaders are moving forward with the creation of its first-ever Police Advisory and Oversight Board.  

The board would be made up of seven members and would be tasked with duties that include reviewing use of force investigations.  

Fargo Police Department officials say the idea for the board came from difficulties with trust between police and the community.
