(Moorhead, MN) -- There was an active police presence in South Moorhead.
Moorhead Police approached with weapons drawn Thursday morning at the Griffin Court Apartments off 20th street, just south of I-94 near the Gate City Bank around 9 a.m.
Captain Deric Swenson says both officers and Clay County Sheriff's deputies were called to the scene after a reported gunshot that was fired. Several buildings were placed in a shelter-in-place order while authorities combed the area for the suspect.
At least three suspects have been taken away into police custody, and officers are leaving the scene. There were no injuries reported.
