Fargo Fighters battle garage fire

Fargo - Fargo Firefighters battled a fire in a row of apartment garages last night. The fire at 2401 20th Ave. S. was reported just after 11pm.  

Heavy smoke was seen pouring out of several garages when the first fire crew arrived. Crews began opening garages to find the fire and put it out.   

The fire was contained to a single garage and its contents but four other garages sustained smoke damage.

Damage is estimated at about $50,000. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
