(Moorhead, ND) -- The Moorhead Police Department says they have seized $10,200 in fentanyl pills during a traffic stop.

The stop occurred in the 3000 block of 20th Street South in Moorhead around 1:00 a.m on Sunday. The officer says the suspect vehicle struck a median on 20th Street near Belsly Boulevard, and was subsequently pulled over for a traffic stop. The officer says the vehicle's occupants, 32-year-old Shananda Fleming of Dunseith, ND, and 25-year-old Abraham Lawrence or Brooklyn Park, MN, were acting suspiciously during the traffic stop. During the investigation, officials say a fake name was given to the officer. A search was conducted, and officials say three-hundred M30 fentanyl pills were seized.

Both Flemming and Johnson were taken to the Clay County Correctional Facility. Flemming faces Felony First Degree Controlled Substance, Gross Misdemeanor False Name to Police, and Misdemeanor Driver's License charges. Johnson faces Felony First Degree Controlled Substance charges.

This marks the fourth significant seizure in Clay County since March. The total number of drugs seized in those four incidents include 50 grams of powdered fentanyl and over 2,300 M30 pills.
