Minnesota State Patrol investigating pair of fatal crashes

(Clay County, MN) -- The Minnesota State Patrol is investigating a pair of fatal crashes that happened Monday evening.

First, troopers say a 19-year old Fargo man was killed when the car he was driving was struck by an SUV on Highway 10 east of Glyndon. The victim was trying to cross Highway 10 just before 6 p.m. when his car was hit. Three people in the SUV were not hurt. The victim's name has not been released.

Then, troopers say they are also investigating a fatal crash in Norman County. It happened south of Halstad just before 7:30 p.m. Monday night. Authorities say a car lost control on a curve on Highway 75 and rolled.

A 22-year old man from Halstad and a 22-year old man from Hendrum were in the car when it rolled. The victim's names in this crash also haven't been released.
