(West Fargo, ND) -- West Fargo firefighters were called out to a construction site just before noon Friday behind Costco to put out a blaze which caused a plume of thick black smoke to rise into the air.

"What was on fire was a spray-on insulation truck and they were applying a water-proofing product as a hazardous material," said West Fargo Fire Chief Dan Fuller.

Fuller says the fire happened in the 300 block of 23rd Street East at a multi-story medical building under construction. The truck being used to spray the waterproofing agent sustained significant damage, while the building sustained minor damage. No injuries are reported. No word yet on what caused the blaze.
